The painter is exhibiting her work in the Miami Art Museum from now until March 6, 2011. The artist, who lives in New Mexico, gained popularity in 1970’s New York with her minimalist abstractions and horse figures. She is married to artist Bruce Nauman, whose artwork is completely different from Rothenberg’s, using language and other symbols to create modern sculptures, prints, videos, and other artwork.
